Would you believe that Ruby debuted in Bollywood at the ripe old age of six??!! Read on....

• She acted as the six year old daughter of Sharmila Tagore and Shashi Kapoor in a Hindi film entitled, "Door Desh" (later re-released as "Gehri Chot") in 1980. This film was directed by Amrish Sanghal. She played the role of a baby Babita, one of Bangladesh's top actresses at the time

• A year before that, Ruby had acted as a child artiste in an English Film entitled, "Utilities" (1979) starring actor Robert Hayes

• At the age of ten, she acted as a baby Mazhar Khan (yes, as a boy) in a film co-starring Navine Nischal entitled "Do Yaaron Ki Yaari". This was in 1983

• As a young adult, Ruby played herself in the superhit film "Chori Chori Chupke Chupke" with Salman Khan, Rani Mukherjee and Preity Zinta (2001). The film was directed by famous director duo Abbas & Mastan

• She then went on to star in the National Film Board of Canada's "Bollywood Bound" directed by Nisha Pahuja (2002). The film was a documentary about young Canadian artists who come to India seeking fame and fortune.

• Ruby also performed in a comedy sequence for Usha Kiran Productions' "Tujhe Meri Kasam" directed by Vijay Bhaskar and starring Ritesh Deshmukh (2003).

• The latest film to be released is Rajshri Productions' "Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon" directed by record-breaking director Sooraj Barjatya and starring superstars Hritik Roshan, Abhishek Bachchan and Kareena Kapoor (June 2003). Once again she has played herself in a grand Valentine's Day Ball which begins on a fun note, but ends in a dramatic, pivotal sequence... altering the chain of events in the film
